I find it hard to believe that Sarah Palin had a hard time with the differences between North Korea and South Korea.
Nevertheless, she should take advantage of this image used by former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld in 2006. It’s a satellite picture of the differences between the North and South at night.
The economically vibrant democracy of South Korea is ablaze with electricity and lights. The image of communist North Korea is that of communism itself, dark, with only a select few in Pyongyang receiving power.
Additional similar pictures can be found here.
Another way she could illustrate the differences is by using this quip I read somewhere: Think of the editorial page of the Wall Street Journal as South Korea and the rest of the paper as North Korea.
